Need ESC and Motor advice (on a budget)

I'm getting an SCX10, which will be my first crawler, initially I was going to get the RTR version because I could get all the electronics for a low price (I know, they are cheap but it would get me started) however I couldn't get over the fact that I wouldn't get to build the thing which is half the fun IMO, so I've decided to spend some more $$$ and get a kit along with somo decent but not too expensive electronics.

The thing is that I'm completely lost as far as what to get, there are so many options that I fee a little overwhelmed, after doing some searching I came up with the Tekin FXR and 35t combo, is it a decent combination? or are there better options for the money?

My requirements are that it has to be available from tower hobbies and I would really like to keep it at 100$ or less, I could go a little over that, but not much.

Thanks.

That is a great combo. Later you could move to a good quality hand wound 35t like a brood.
