| Where to find LEDs?
I need a string of (5) 5mm white LEDs for a light bar that I will be running off a small 2S lipo. I already have (2) 5mm orange LEDs wired up to the front of my rig off a separate 2S lipo for headlights. I used the super bright 4 LEDs off a Summit and just cut off the other 2 bulbs. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXYCT9&P=FR I made a switch for the orange headlights already. But now I need to find a 5 LED string setup. Anyone know where I can get one? Or should I get 2 more sets of those Summit LEDs and cut off the remaining 3 bulbs? |

you should be abe to get single led's at radio shack or somewhere and wire them up in series and that should work you might have to add a resistor or diodes in to the set up but it should work.

Dollar Store flashlights, stick-on lamps, etc. can be a cheap source for fairly bright white LEDs. Narly1 |

Radio Shack, they have them in different sizes, Colors and voltage ratings. I run a set of two on my scx10, they are powered off of my RX and controled by a micto switch. The set I bought cost me less that $2.00 bucks.
