| 5-Channel stick radio
I was curious why I've not seen anyone mention these radios. I did a search on here and didn't find anything: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...tem-TX-RX-Only It has the same nice price point of the dx5e but with added features, most notably EPA (they call it adjustable throw volume on flight controls, same thing?). Is there something I'm missing as to why this radio is not more popular? I'm considering going stick with 2.4 GHz on the cheap and this looks like the best deal I can find. |

I wouldn't touch it because it doesnt have programmable mixing. What are you thinking about using it with? It will work fine as a basic controller. Double check the price on the receivers it uses. I use a spektrum dx7 for my dual fxr XR10 and i love it (mainly because of the on-the-fly individual throttle control of both motors) |

I am just a trail/basher kinda guy, no comps. I don't have an MOA/dual ESC setup either. Just one motor and I want to be able to add accesories like winch, 4WS, lights wired to radio switch thru receiver... that kind of stuff. I assume the mixing is for 2 esc-MOA setup where you need to have equal input to each motor or ability to have separate control. Am I on the right track?
