I use a 3pks. I love the thing. It has all the options available for three channels that the 4pk has. (of course no 4th channel) I used Harley's walkthroughs and can mix channels and use my 3rd position switch for tons of things and any location. Futaba's are great working and reliable radios. Use it for sure. |

I used one until I got my 4PK and now my 4PKS. My dad is using one with Dual FX_r's in his XR10.

I use one with my berg duals escs, used Harley's 4pk programming. Does everything that I need. I would like to get a newer radio like the 4pl or 4pks.

Just like everyone else said. They are great crawler radios. Tons of adjustments for servo's, dual ESC's, dig setups, dual steering, mixing. |

If it's anything like the Futaba 3PM-x, you can do dual ESC's OR single ESC running through a dig (either electronic dig or servo/switch dig). I have a single ESC (CC Mamba Max) and a servo dig on a MOA Bully. |

| You don't NEED 2 ESC's. I ran just fine with 1 FXR and a punk dig unit. There's just soo much more to do with the mixing capabilities that for the small extra cost it makes sense to go that route.

Yeah I thnk I worded my thought process wrong. I know some radios req. 2 esc for a "dig" feature. I ment to ask if this one is the same as needing 2 esc. Sorry for confusion.

Hell yes! The 3PK rocks! Works awesome for crawling! Why waste the money on a 4PK? It's the same radio, minus one channel (plus it feels like a more quality radio in the hand than the 4PK anyday)! If you are gonna run a comp crawler like an XR10, it's everything you need for $200 less! I love my 3PK! Last edited by DiggyStyle; 10-30-2011 at 08:33 AM. |
