Default Changing plugs on rx style pack to deans?

Was thinking of getting some small lipos like these: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...idproduct=7308
The Plug is of course small, but I've seen a lot of micro deans connectors lately and wondered of these could handle being changed out to a micro or regular deans plug with out bursting or causing damage to the other electronics.
Any thoughts or experience on this small of wire or connector??

you can change the plug to what ever you want and it will be fine as long as what you plug it into can handle the voltage. what are you going to be using it for since its only rated to put out 12A? and its not a rx pack just so ya know

Was thinking of useing them on my MOA, I like the size, just curious if the size of the wire would be an issue feeding twin FXR's.
I've got a 2S3P rx pack that's nice sized but a little thick to use but it's only rated at 12C.
My concern is the size of the wire, not really the plug. Trying to keep weight down to a min.

No the wire size won't matter, the cells will blow up before it gets the chance. Thats 12 amps cont with 18 amp burst.

that battery would only be somewhat safe at running a single 55t on an fxr, they wouldnt last long at all with a moa rig with a lower turn motor. if they didnt swell they wouldnt charge many times at all.

I can probably dig up amp vs wire gage specs, but 12ga wire is good for 20amps, 10ga wire is good for 30amps.....so to pull the amps you need (for 2 FXR's under full load) you NEED to consider amp load.
Connector is part of it, wire gage is also a part of it.

I was hoping to hear better news, but it seems as tho the wires are the issue. My friend runs his Berg with 600MAH 30C batts (I think) but I believe most of his wires are 16G which is what I'm switching to.
Guess I'll stay with the small packs I'm running now.
