Default winch servo(hitec645) and DX3e

so i just built myself a servo winch from this thread....http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17970

everything went as planned except for the DX3e part.

I cant figure out how to get the winch to spin both ways? I can get it to spin one way(pull line out) no problem and then make it stop but i can not make it spin back the other way(bring line in)

can anyone help me out with this problem...it a brand new radio...dont know to much about it..

Have you got the switch on the DX3e set to the 3p mode. If so did you adjust the pot inside the servo to ensure you had a neutral.
If you've done both of these its got me fawked.

Did you try testing the winch servo in your steering channel? That should tell you if it's the programing of the radio for the 3rd channel. It sounds like your travel adjustments (EPA) may not be set for the opposite direction (+100 to run it out -100 to run it in).

If you adjust the radio so the 3rd channel is opposite of the current direction ( REV/NORM ) does the servo wind the line in?

Just a couple of things to try
