I ran 4s on my moa Losi with a punk dig, no problems. As far as brushed motors, 4s is a little hard on them. You will probably notice increased brush and com wear. |

Dude, that punk dig you bought from me was ran on 4s its entire life. It'll be fine! I will tell you that 4s can go through some motors, though. That much voltage is hard on them, so if you want to run 4s you should add motors into your maintenance budget!

in the first place, why do you want to go to 4s? you could just gear up 1-2 teeth with a 3s unless its torque is too low.

| True, but a 14T Holmes Cobalt puller can handle 4S better than other 'regular' brushed motors.

The Punk dig runs off BEC voltage, not the actual voltage of the Battery.

| Sure, the control circuit runs off of the BEC, but the entire voltage that the motors see have to go through it somewhere, and that is through the relays! I suppose if you were worried, you could snag the PN off of the relays and check their amp/volt ratings, but it's been tried and true. I wouldn't worry about it.

Here are the specs: Switch Rating: 12Amps @ 35V (each motor)
