Battery problems

I have a 7.2V ni-MH 6000maH but i get bout only get bout an hour
I plug it in before I go to school, so when i get home it's done charging.(6 hours)
I live in Maine and right now its colder then a witches tit in a brass bra.(means its f***in cold)
So could that be the reason or could it be a bad batter?
-Tom

Thanks for your help everybody "thumbsup"

an hour for a 6000mah bat seems normal.

reason being, NiCD it self has a pretty old battery chemisty, and it doesnt hold a charge like NiMH

What brand battery? I know alot of the ebay nicd and nimh are labelled one thing but actually are another so while it may say 6000 on the sticker (suspiciously high if you ask me..) it might actually be a 2100mah or something. The little overnight chargers also just charge until you unplug them so there is no way way to know how much juice actually went in there. Ditch the nicd and get some decent nimh's or lipos if you can swing it.

not true, i had a 1800mah nicd from when it was new untill it died, and i would get up to 40min of run time out of it in my cc-01 and scx-10.

how long have you had it? sure sounds like a bad battery to me, or a mis-labeled one. I'd take it back if its not old, and you should easily see 2-3 hours out of that pack.
