Default Goat 3s/Brushed?

I have a chance to pick up a goat 3s for 80$ after a fresh rebuild, because somebody thought it was water proof. I would like to run a brushed set up is this a good deal? Are the glitching problems mainly with brushless motors? My rig is an ax-10 comp based crawler with stock gears in the building stages moving into electronics. Thanks for any input.

It will work with brushed motors. I think the limit is 33 turn.

I am worried about the glitching issues that I've heard about, but it was with brushless motors is it different with brushed? I just like to get the 3s capability for a little cheaper.
