I've looked around and cant find an answer so i figured id start a thread. What is the diffrence between slotted and full brushes? And which is better suited for a crawler?

Slotted brushes mess with powerband......you can use them as a tuning aid for your motors....some claim it increases RPM, others torque.....I've found that every brush and motor can react different to a brush cut....its all about testing.

Full face is what I use on all my motors......I've messed with brush cuts to a lot of success, just customers are not able to replace easily, so I don't use them on production motors.

Slotted was believed to give higher rpm due to less friction and the cavity was supposed to enhance the electric field.

Full brush would give more torque and a little lower rpm, an advantage in crawling. The serrated brush is a full design but the serrations aid in quickening the break in.
