Removing On/Off Switch from ESC
 
Do you simply cut off the switch or is there more to it? Thanks

and solder the red and black wires together, cover in shrink tube when done.

....or you can pop the case off and follow the wires to the board and solder it there.

at the risk of sounding ignorant, what benefit does this accomplish? other than not flipping a switch.

less wires to mess with. And the weight savings of 0.002oz or whatever the switch weighs.

Plus you will never switch off your speed controller and forget to un plug your battery and run it down. With no switch you have to un plug your lipo when your done playing.

yeah, if you have a BEC you need to unplug anyways.

I have had mine turn off alot while racing. just fyi

Switches are a PIA in any RC except for maybe some airplane fuselage..Plug and unplug battery for power on/off.One less thing to mess you up..Simple"thumbsup"
