| fxr capacitor BLEW UP!!!!!!
so I just finished wiring my crawler and put power to it for the first time.... What I failed to notice is the capacitor that comes with the fxr was saudered to the motor posts instead of the battery posts where it is supposed to be. only took a few seconds for it to go BOOM!!!! Now My place is filled with smoke and I'm left wondering if I just fried a brand new fxr???? Any one know if that would be enough to completly bugger it, or would it survive something like this? I'm a little scared to hook it back up and find out:( HELP... |

More than likely it just took out your cap. Toss a new one on it correctly and you can test the output voltage with a multimeter.

you can test it without a cap, just remove the exploded cap and try it.
