| Lipo Cutoff/CC BEC
I've got a lipo cutoff switch wired in so I don't overdischarge my battery(tekin Rebel II esc). I'm waiting on a CC Bec to get here and I am going to wire that into my steering servo. Will this affect anything? I'm thinking it won't, but just wanted to get everyone else's opinion. Also, I'm running a JR XR3 radio and R133 Receiver. The specs online for this radio says the receiver can only handle 7.2-8.4v. I currently have a 11.1v lipo. Will this fry the reciever? If it won't work is there any way around this? The Rebel II has a built-in BEC, will that step it down for the receiver? |

The TR2 esc's BEC should regulate the voltage to the RX @ 6V, as long as you're running below the ESC's rated max input (12v, I think) . Make sure you wire the CC BEC to power your servo directly, and only run the signal wire from the RX to the servo. You'll want to make a y-harness so you're not snipping servo leads and CC leads.
