Default Check batt open circuit???

I have a Hyperion Eos0606i charger and I'm trying to charge a Hyperion EX G3 Lipo it's a 2s/7.4 45c 1100mAh battery and when I hook it up to the charger and balance board it tells me to check the battery open circuit. I don't know how to check this or how to fix it. Any help would be great. I should also tell you that this battery has been getting noticeably less run time today I timed it at 13 minutes on a full charge and it is less then a month old. and probably been ran less then 15 times.

open circuit can also mean a very low voltage.

Do you connect the balance board first then plug the battery in? If I plug the battery in first on my Hyperion I get errors.

Can you put the charger on Balance mode and check what each cell is at? You may have a bad one in there and thats why it dumps out quick when running.

Does it give the message when the pack peaks on the charger? Or when you hook it up and start charging?

I get the same message on my charger when the battery peaks. All my cells are with in .01-.03 of each other, they all run fine in the trucks, never puffed any and always take a complete charge.

Havent figured it out myself but havent caused any problems so I just got use to it.
