| Need servo help...killed 2 in three weeks :(
Hey guys I have killed the gears in 2 hitec 5645 in the last 3 weeks. Both times were a small flip off a rock (less than a foot high) and the crawler landed on the front tires and killed the brass gear in the servo. What is a good strong servo that is not outrageously expensive? Thanks!

You're gonna want anything with titanium gears. The 645's are good servos, but the gears won't take too much punishment. |

Hobbico CS-170 (same as a Hitec 5955 but $30 less).

The CS-170 has the Titanium gears and 333 oz/in of torque @ 6V is more than sufficient.
