EVX (3014) has more power in reverse
 

I'm using an original evx on my crawler. It's set up for one battery, one motor. The problem is, it has more power in reverse than forward. I've swapped motor leads, played with the radio. I can't figure it out. When it's in full reverse, the green LED comes on, which i thought indicated full power forward. Has anybody had this problem? Ideas? Thanks

You have it figured out, just have to finish the thought.

There will be a control on your transmitter that will reverse the throttle channel. Flip it.
Reverse the wires going to the motor so that when the green light comes on, the crawler will be going forward.

Now you should have full power forward!

That's what i thought initially, but it didn't work. I was thinking i might need to reprogram the evx.
