| Novak question
Hey everyone, I was trying to find out somethng about my Havoc. I've read that a Goat ESC defaults to a Havoc with a non-crawler motor. I'm wondering if the Havoc will default to a Goat with a crawler motor installed? thanks, James PS I have e-mailed Novak a few days ago and havent got an answer yet |

I've never heard of anything like that. They are both brushless speed controls, if they share the same software, possibly.

It's true that a non Novak crawler motor turns the goat into a havoc. It doesn't work the other way though. Maybe one day Novak will realize that instead of putting a sticker on thier junk that says "crawler" it should be programmable to do everything like everybody elses stuff, without catching on fire when plugged into a computer.

thank you indiana mudcat. its kinda sad how companys market their products with sales in mind more than customer satisfaction. I've had good luck with Novak products since the 80's (zero failure rate) but I wish they would offer a more flexible product. thank you, James
