| Motor suggestions for HH Torquemaster BRXL
Over the holidays I had to go through a series of surgeries and I rediscovered RC again. I bought a MaxxStone 8 for a couple hundred bucks and I've had a ball with it. My question is, this thing needs some serious wheel speed. It's a pretty boring basher right now. Right now I do probably 80 bashing and 20 % crawling. I figure the HH BR XL would pick this thing up on 4s, but I am wondering what motors would go well for my situation? Also, are there any other suggestions on ESC's and motors. I've also been looking at twin FXR, if I use the BR XL I'll use a punk dig. Thanks for everyones time! |

if you are goin to run 4s i would stick to a 45t or so. you could go to a 35t if you dont mind rebuilding your motors fairly often

Thanks for the reply, what would you suggest for 3s? I was thinking about running some titan 550's. Would the BR XL handle these on 4s?

A BR XL can handle any brushed motor, Then can handle probable two of any brushed motor. So don't work about the br-xl not being up to snuff.

I run a 5S lipo on a 35 turn in my scaler and the BR-XL loves it. 4S and dual 37 turns in my Berg with no issues either. |
