4300 kv help

;-)i want to get an axial scx10 trail honcho kit and i already own a 4300kv brushless system and if i gear the honcho for torc do you think it would have enough torc to crawl???? i appreciate your input http://images.rcuniverse.com/forum/image/s45.gif "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup":m rgreen:

the 4300kv may be alittle too high for crawling, unless your wanting more speed over crawling with some decent torque.

The only issue with brushless in crawlers is that they tend to Cog at low speeds. So if you can, i would say either a Brushed set up, or a Sensored Brushless setup would be great for an SCX-10 "thumbsup"

Been there tried that mate...Even geared as low as i could get it. It stuttered, cogged and generally had a hissy fit, but geez it was wicked fun on a flat surface.
If you get a lower KV motor (2000kv or lower) and use the brushless esc you have it will be better but still not the best.

As MRCCRAWLER said if you've got the $$$ get a decent brushed or sensored brushless set-up.
