| lipo set up
okay so i'm making the switch to a lipo set up for my crawler. i'm gettin the charger for valentines day from my girlfriend and i am looking at what else i need. Can anyone send me the link for the ebay cut off that attach to the battery i'm new and i'm not sure what i'm looking for. also i have the older xl5 and i think i can only run a 2s lipo but correct me if i'm wrong. also if so are there any other waterproof ECS's that can handle a 3s+ lipo?

the only waterproof 3s lipo capable esc i know of is the HH brxl and the traxxas vxl , as for the ebay thing its not a cutoff its a alarm, it doesnot shut your truck down it simply makes a high pitched beep to let you know youve reached the batterys limit, if you want a sheap cutoff then look into the novak smartstop 2s or 3s, i have the one from ebay and it works good for what it is, here is a link to the ebay one http://cgi.ebay.com/7-4V-11-1V-RC-Li...item2c5a862bf8 |

The low voltage alarm will wire direct to the battery wires ahead of of the esc. Typically at the male deans, other manufacturers connector.
