is 18 turns enough

i want to get an venom creeper comp kit and i want to get an 18t brushless motor cause its cheap and if i gear the creeper for torc do you think it would have enough torc to crawl???? i appreciate your input http://images.rcuniverse.com/forum/image/s45.gif and are there any really cheap brushless motors that are crawler worthy

It should he fine. Brushed motors seem to be a better setup because of the torque and lack of cogging that the brushless setup is notorious for. A sensored setup helps the cogging but you then have to deal with locked rotor sensor. Not trying to talk you out of brushless, there are plenty of guys out there running them. Just depends what you looking to do with it if you want to cram it between to rocks and hammer it out brushed is the ticket. Just my two cents
