Default Cobalt Puller motor?

When using a cobalt puller motor 10T with a 3S lipo what is a good pinion to use to have good torque and moderate speed? This would be for a stock axial trany.

I don't know much about axial trannies, but try a 14t. Seems decent with a 45t novak on 2s, so i'm sure it rip with a 10t puller, the puller gots loads of torque, so its more of how much speed you want...

If you are running the stock 87 tooth spur, the biggest pinion you should run with is probably a 14-15 tooth while on 3s.

If you drop down to a 2s, you can probably go up to 18-20 tooth on the pinion (with the 87 tooth spur.)

The motor should stay warm (100*) just keep an eye on the temp of the motor and use that as your gauge.

Ditto, start with a 14t. You can gear as high as you want if the motor temp stays under 160f.
