Maybe you could try your local hobbie shop, I know the hobbytown near me has the different types of boards, I just don't know about the origanole wire plug. As far as safe charging, I am new to the lipos as well, I use a Losi lipo sack. It was 15 dollars. The way I look at it is it doesn't hurt to be on the safe side. The only down side is u can't see wha the battery is doing while it's in the lipo sack. I'm sure a metal box would do just fine, u just want to conceal the flames from catching anything on fire if the battery was to ever explode.

Chevdog: my local hobbytown hires any joe blow with salse experiance not hobby experiance... so the have no clue unless its something the actualy stock & even then its hit & miss if the even know about it. Its realy pathetic to say the least. I know more than most of them do.... 1 guy knows planes a bit, 1 knows a bit about trains, several know nothing but what the box/packaging sais... & 1 guy whos the "RC Tec" & only there a few days a week for a couple hrs knows about the same as me. Other then them we have 2 mom & pop shops... the 1 barly has anything & doesnt even carry batterys or chargers. hes actuly a pawn shop (LOL).. The other just said to check the net. These were all given to me except the big black one... couple Light max 2200 zippy, couple li-power 7.4v 2000mah one 7.4v but no idea what mha it is (its the tiny one) one? think its a 2s or 3s?? (the orignal shrink tube was falling off due to it sliding down the pavement 1 too many times.) still worked fine. i dont know who made it. Forgot one... its a Turnigy2.2 2200 MAH OH I guess i may need to know what amp rating to charge each of them at... the li-power sais charge rate: 1C (2A) thats 2 amps correct? what about the others? is there any way to tell on the no namers? second pic shows ends.. the venom is jst/xh style plug and it is common, i would suggest getting all the balancing taps for that charger so you're covered for everything. the other batteries look to have the same tap style also JST/XH http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.ph...-ALIGN&cat=212 Hyperion taps http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.ph...TI-HYP&cat=212 TP http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.ph...LTI-TP&cat=212 there is a cable that goes between the charger and the tap board that should've come with the charger but if you don't have it you'll need that to. these boards will balance 2s up to 6s lipos on that charger. cable http://www.maxamps.com/HYP-Extender.htm I only charge at 1c personally, 850mah@1c = .85amp charge 1250mah @1c= 1.25 or 1.2 amp charge 2200mah @1c= 2.2amp charge 4000mah @1c =4.0amp charge 2c you would double your 1c amperage, the higher the "c" charge means the battery will charge faster but risk damage to battery and burning your house down.... follow? Well airdreams1 I guess I am lucky. My local hobbie shop is hobby town in concord(About 20 minutes away). They have a ton of crawler stuff and have been very knowledable with anything that I have needed. Lots of good pointers and overall good guys. They even have a rock course a few building away in the same shopping center which is free on friday nights. Check it out, HobbyTown - Concord, CA Indoor Course - LOTS of PICS!. They stock just about everything you would need, I just bought my electrifly charger and cbp lipos from them a few weeks ago. Hope everything works out for you.
