You can't use the word Durability with those winches.

Servo winch is the only way to roll.

got a 3R winch, kinda sucks. the RC4WD is much stronger and the controlers dont suck. the 3R when new, could lift up my loaded honcho, and now it has a hard time doing that and it wasnt used too much.

you want a strong winch...contact Ben (Unimogger) or Arron (Slobin3d) at hobby garage....they have a strong winch.

You're asking about durability, not price right?

Servo winch is the way to go if you can't find/afford the MSD/QS winch. I've used a 5645 and run it through a dead 3R winch and it worked flawlessly

Actually I planned to go with the QS winch, but needed it to spool on from the bottom of the spool, and only have 1.125" to mount it with the fairlead outside of that area.....Could not locate measurements on the QS to make sure it would fit.

Send a PM to Unimoger, slobin3d or Grizzly4x4... They can probably get the measurements you need I believe hotwheels000 has one as well.

so is there any of the OS winches to be had ive been looking for almot a year and a hlf for one.I thought they were not being made any more.
