winch control

Anyone have a 1/10th scale winch from 3racing? if so how are you running it?

I have a AX-10 running a traxxas 2.4 TQ 4 ch, A 3racing 1/10th scale winch and no way of getting them to work together. Accept for using a servo to activate the push button switch.
My idea is to either make it work off the 3rd. ch (shifting) as it should, or some how combining the 4th and 5th ch (3 way toggle switch) to make it work. like "mixing" the two together.
Any ideas would help.

sweet, I got a question. why cant we just take signal from ch 4 and ch 5 into a Y adaptor? One would think that if you reverse on ch then it would give you full range of both ch., right?

You can try it, but I don't think it will work that way.

No it dont work like that at all. lol. Dude will this device work for a rear steering also: wantA3tp-TQ4Link (Traxxas TQ4 Link to 3-True-Position adapter)
