Question Sidewinder help

I have a CC Sidewinder that hasn't been used in a while. I just took a brushless 5700 out of my truck and put a brushed integy 45 in using 3600nimh batts. Now when I go through all the proper calibration steps, and all the lights stop flashing, all I get from the throttle is a pulsing power to the wheels. It's like spin, stop, spin, stop, etc. I'm thinking it's still in brushless mode. I've only went from brushed to brushless with this esc never brushless to a brushed motor so I have no idea how to calibrate for such. I need to know if this is what's causing this and how to calibrate for a brushed motor, or if it's something else?

Get a castle link and update it.

Your local hobby shop should have one hopefully.

Or hit up a friend and get them to do it. (beers)

While you are in there you can easily change it back to brushed mode on your computer, plus set-up some features that you may want to play with to fine-tune to your liking. Well worth the price.
