|  3 racing winch
i want to put one on my losi night crawler to adjust the front end ride height when needed on the rock but how does the winch work exactly? how do you control it from your remote? would i have to get a different remote for it? any info helps thank you

You need a place to mount it, You can mount it on there but its mainly for scale crawlers. It comes with a controller, youll need a BEC if your running 3S, you may need a 3 channel depending on how many channels you use now. and youll have to understand how to set up the limits on your radio so you dont burn it up.

Yeah i DX3e would be fine, as it has a 3pos 3rd channel.

I think the best bet for a winch down suspension is to run a hi torque servo modded as a winch. I used to use a hitec 5645-mg

i run the rc4wd winch on my creeper. its just zipptied down to the front axle and works just fine. As far as controling it i have modded a tq3 with a 3 position switch from radio shack. The mod works great and really cheap and easy to do.
