|  Novak Goat Reverse Problem
I have a Novak Goat 2S that does not go into reverse immediately. The speed control light shows that you are in full reverse but the motor does not turn. If you go back to neutral then hit reverse again it goes into reverse. It almost acts like a regular speed control w/brake. I've tried to change every function and profile with no help. If any of you have had these problems, please shed some light on the fix. I have 2 other novak goats that work perfectly so I'm not sure what I,m missing

What motor are you using? Using a non-Novak "crawler" motor or the blue wire breaking in the sensor harness will both cause that. I had it happen in water once also, drying out was the cure, the ESC cases leaks pretty bad to have a seal on it.

Problem has been found. I did not know that there was a difference in brushless motors (regular and crawler). The wonderful people at Novak clued me in. Non crawler motors work they just dont have the ability to have instant reverse. I tested it with a crawler motor I have and it worked perfectly.
