Default Wiring Woes

I have a Futaba 6EX that has the left stick self centering, it also has been modded to have a 3 position switch on the upper left side. I have 2 motors, 2 servo's, 2 tekin fxr's, 1 cc-bec and a battery balancer. I saw Harley's wiring diagram but got confused. I though i read on another post about people taking power after the bec straight to the servo's instead of running it through the receiver? Also for the FXR's are you guys just cutting the switches off? Do you need to solder the wires together after or leave them separated? Thanks for the help

Default servo wiring

here is a good thread about wiring a BEC to servo(s)

7.4V to Servo

one thing i have done now is to strip down a servo y harness, remove the signal wire completely, then solder in another ground (black) wire and plugged it into the receiver. i did this as i had some glitching and this has helped. the receiver is powerd from the built in BEC in the esc (rooster crawler)

If you cut off the on/off switch from the ESC, yes, you need to strip a bit of insulation/twist the wires together and then solder them. Wrap in tape or shrink tube and call it done.
