No. It doesn't have the needed programming.

If you want the dual ESC control the cheapest you will get is the Futaba 4pl. It will make you very happy!

Do you already have that radio? If so, maybe this would get you going:
DIG Switch alternative

Get a 4PL. You won't regret it!

+1...not expensive and will cover 90% of your needs. If you get a new one now, it should have the new crawler programming in it.

Yes, I ran a mamba max pro/punk dig setup on my XR10 using the XR4 radio but sold it so I could run the 4PL with my dual mamba micro pros now.

You will saw very little money going this route and will have a less capable truck than one running dual ESC's. The benefits have been gone over many times, the main advantage being the benefit of adjusting the bias between the front and rear motors.

Save money in the long run by not wasting money now.

I just weighed all the different options going other routes and that is why I just bought the 4PL. Every time a laid it out the 4PL made the most sense.

In the end you really don't save any money trying to go other routes. Futaba nailed it on this one and will sell the crap out of these radios. Almost all the function of the 4pk at half the price. Plus I have never had radios as trouble free as a Futaba. I have and have had spektrum, JR, Airtronics, etc.

Yes, the adapter is for dual-esc. In this case (using a 3-position-switch, dual ESCs and this adapter) it will act like a dig switch, but with the benefiit of being able to adjust the bias via a trim-pot on the adapter. The other benefit is if you get a better radio as some point, you will not need to re-think all your electronics. You will already have dual ESCs and be ready for full proportional control (either through this same adapter or from your radio depending on what you choose).

I also cannot find on the description where it supports two esc's and a dig function with proportional control.
