Default Castle Link

I did a search for this but could not find the answer for my question.
Can a Castle Link kill an esc? If it is pluged in right, everything done by the book?

Thanks!

X2 unless your Castle link went bad and shorted something.

I have had it work on one esc, but not another. I havent had any issues with bec's. It is a older style with the long pig tail. Nothing has gone up in smoke, the computer says the link is there, but what I have pluged in dosent show. Guess if im doubting it, before I plug anything else into it. I will just get another. Some where in the house I have a bec I can try & see if it works on that. Cheeper then anothere esc.
Dose anyone know how to test an esc (EDIT: test a castle link?)

Your welcome to use my Castle Link. I know its good.

You can test a BEC with a Multi Meter by checking the output voltage. You'll need to probe the wires and install and operate a Servo to ensure it stays at the constant voltage you have it set too.

Thanks! When I get a new ESC I will meet up with you. Then I can show you the new Class 2 rig with your leaf kit.

If the bec and esc are getting there power from a shared source it will confuse the link. When you plug in your link to the bec check and see if the esc lights up. You must unplug the positive wire that supplies the bec. That is what I have to do.

Right! But can a Castle link kill youe ESC if the link is bad? Or will the CL just not work?
