Default rc4wd scale lighting kit

Can I run 7.2 vlts to it?

I just got one recently, and run it off the rx port (6vdc). Very cool system, and fairly bright as well. I wouldn't push it to 7.2, but you could drop the voltage down with a resistor.

Thanks, that is probably my best option. I was trying to keep from using another battery.

You could use a Y adaptor off one of the rx channels for 6 volt power, or if you have a BEC (set for 6 volts) that will also give you power for lighting. Running a seperate battery for accesories like lights or a winch just sucks. Running a high maH lipo for your main power, you'll never even notice the drain .
