DX3.0 and Front Dig only?

I have a dx3.0 and i was wondering if i can use the "c" button for front dig only with these electronics:

Punk dig
sidewinder esc
7459 hitec steering servo
holmes 45t handwound

i haven't tried that but I don't see why it wouldn't work......if you have it all then give it a shot, if it doesn't work then you know you'll need a different radio
