Default problems with steering and throttle, beyond my knowledge

i need help, i just got a scx10 TR to join the scaler world and when i try to turn sharp, left or right, it either A; jerks and twitches then connects and shoots off the obsticle. B; doesnt move at all. no wires seem to be shorting out, i waterproofed it before was ever drove. im stumped and would like help on what i should do... please and thanks.

also the stock moter seems a little less touchy and alot more speed. any good motor sizes i should switch to?

thanks for the help

sounds like a Bad BEC in the ESC, or your servo EPA is too high; try lowering your EPA and see if that helps.

huh?? it should just be on your radio..

which radio do you have? if its the stock 27mhz, then i dont think there is a EPA. (EPA=end point adjustment)

Oh but after reading it more carefully, i think it could just be a BEC issue or a faulty Servo.

Can you do this again and see if the light on your receiver shuts off? if it does shut off, then your Servo is drawing too much amperage, so you will need a External BEC.

Is this a new rig, or bought used?
What battery are you using?
What do you mean by, "also the stock moter seems a little less touchy and alot more speed." Did you change the motor?? If so, what did you change it to????

its new, and the battery is a venom power, 4200MAH 7.2 volts NIMH.
it just seems like there is now low power or a constant speed/rythm.

should i just buy a better servo for the long run and a different radio?
