| why the V2 sidewinder...........
why did CC come out with a V2 SW, what was wrong with the old V1 SW....i see there is this white wire/black wire mix up in the firmware....i have a V1 SW from 08 that has worked fine since then, why make a V2 that seems to have troubles now ....so if it wasn't broke so why fix/improve it to have these troubles i've been reading bout now ........bob .... |

At a minimum, it's called "marketing", gotta have new stuff come out even if it's not much different from the last thing. |

They changed the FETs, so now it has a lot better amp rating. Basically like the original mamba max. There are no new problems with the v2, except for the fets it is the same thing. The brushed mode wiring "bug" has been the same for many of the previous firmwares of the v1 controller. |

Sounds like you are running an early firmware. The latest three on the SW v1 had the issues if I recall correctly.
