| 3 smoked lipos and my new rig.....
So I built a sweet new TTC rig. I was ready to try it out, and plugged a 3s lipo on it.....It sparked the deans connector, I backed off.....and tried again after a quick polarity check.....The nearly new lipo let all or it's smoke out...Dead. Sooo. I check continuity on the meter.....It shows a connection across the + and - briefly then it goes away....I reinsulated the battery leads going to the ESC that has the three BEC leads soldered on to it to run dual servos, and a winch. My comp rig shows the same thing minus smoking batteries.....So I plug in a battery, and it works great, winch good, dual steering good.....motor good....runs good....So I take some time out to solder up a series "Y" connector to make 6s power for my HH ESC....plug two batteries on to the harness and voltage check of 24.1 volts.....All good plug onto rig and I have dual lipo smoke bombs! What do I do now? This is getting pricey....... |

i would think one would do..... if not i would wire one to the front servo, wire one to the rear servo and run the winch straight to the RX and use the ESC to power it... do you have your BEC or BEC's plugged into the RX??? |

Shoot me an email with a description of what is going on. I don't know if this is two ESCs, or just one ESC being shared between two rigs. Sounds like you have a problem with an ESC though.

| Actually, I got an email into him right now, and patiently waiting to see what he says....I'm sure IF it is the ESC, he will know and will make it right....He is a good guy to deal with. I'm just so anxious to get this beast running!!!
