| servo wiring help!
MAYBE someone could help me here? I have a high power servo that i need to run directly off the battery. To do this do i attach the red and black wires directly to the battery and leave the yellow wire in the reciever? Thanks |

yes, but i also run a separate ground wire to the receiver. it seems to help reduce any servo/bec problems like glitching. to do this i get a y harness, strip it down, remove the signal wire, then solder in an extra wire which i take from a busted servo.

I run a BEC between battery and high power servo. And have that glitching thing. Have to give that extra ground wire a try. Maybe that helps me. |

i put the extra wire in as when i used 7.2 volt nimh batteries i had no glitching at all. when i swapped to 3s lipo and a bec i got low speed throttle glitching, and the servos (f & r steer) would act weird, sometimes not steering at all.

Thanks guys! I ran a y harness off of the servo. The lead to the 2s lipo battery had the yello wire unplugged, the lead to the reciever had the red wire unplugged. Super strong now and no glitching! Thanks again |
