Do I need an external BEC if i am using tekin fxr?

For a scaler with a modest servo no, for a crawler or scaler with a high powered servo yes.

if you are running 2s lipo or equivilent you should be fine, but if when in a bind the rig wont move then you know u need a bec

Im running a stock axail servo that came on my wraith and just up graded to a tekin fxr pro with a tekin 35t crawler motor and had problems with getting it to turn the servo i bought a cc bec cable last night do u thing that will fix my problem? im also running a 2s lipo

if it has steering issues the bec will likely fix it unless you have binding in your steering
