4pl vs dx3s

I'm interested in getting a new radio and don't know which one to get , I've only used rtr radios beforeand would like a radio that I can use on all my trucks, any advice would be appreciatied thanks

It really depends on what kind of trucks and what you plan to do with them. I have a DX3S and loved it, but now that I have an MOA rig I am looking to sell it and get the 4PL so I have proportional control and a 3-position third channel.

For the price, the DX3S is a great radio, and if you never plan to go dual ESC's or want other functionality on the 3rd channel it will work great for your crawlers and go-fast rigs.

Let me know if interested in buying my S, it is in near perfect condition and I will sell two receivers with it.

For the money I would get a 4pl. You just get more functionality, even if you think you may never use it it better to have it and not use it than not have it when you need to use it.

IMO, the best bet radio out there now is the 4PL. Tons of capabilites for a good price. I would steer clear of the DX3s and instead look at the DX3r if you wanted a Spektrum radio. The 3s only has a 2 position 3rd channel whereas the 3r has the 3 position. DX3r's can be found pretty cheap used, but if you plan on buying new get the 4PL.

i had the same question for some time, and found there the 4 channel is the future radio especially for crawler. 4PL is the cheapest and best radio for now, having the 3pk, i deeply understand the futaba quality, i wood love to get one in the near fture
