Turnigy MG959 Alloy Digital Metal Gear Servo??

how is this servo compared to a hitec 645? i have the 645 but its getting pretty beat up from the rocks and looking for something stronger.

i would steer clear of anything turnigy, there is a reason why their stuff is so cheap. I have had experience with their batteries, half the time they show up with dead cells and then customer service "opens a case" to look into the issue. Been a couple months and have not been taken care of. Just my experience and my brother in law's Good luck.

Shows what you know.

Ya know what I personally hate. When people that don't know open their mouths and infect others who are trying to learn with word vomit.

Turnigy makes great lipos. We just had this discussion the other day. Tested against the big names, turnigy out performs.

As for the servo. Not having run that servo, I couldn't tell you. This I can say, the 645 is a great servo with good power and is very reliable.
sure there are more powerful ones out there, but its very good.

And the price is right on it.

That being said, it depends on what your putting it in.

A little more info would help us give you the best advice.

i used this servo in my xr10, it's loud, and it only lasted me about a year... some people love em, some hate them, i don't mind it, but honestly you're better off spending the money once... i should have just spent the money on a 7950 right from the start.

The specs look vaguely similar to my tower pro mg955, minus the metal case.
