Default Novak The dig wirering???

Hey Guys new to novak "the dig". It's recomende by novak to pull a red/power wire from one esc. So here's my question. Do i need to pull the red wire from one of the ESC? Im running Mamba micro pro X2.

Will I burn up my receiver (SR 300) with 2 power wires =10V ???

When I pull a red wire dosen't seem to set up. If I leave both power wires it works fine.

Thanks for any and all help

I am using "the dig" with dual fxrs and I left them both plugged in. It has been working fine for 6 months without issue. I have the same receiver.

Pulling the red wire is needed if you run a BEC. So the ESC's BEC's aren't running with 3S or what ever. Usually, internal BEC's in an ESC simply don't like the added voltage. So the internal BEC heats up. I suppose, if you're using dual ESC's, they may not heat up as bad.....

To be electronically sound, when using a BEC, you should remove the red wire from the ESC to the RX wire. Nothing major just a "do it right" type of thing. It'll work both ways.

Thanks Guys... It was bugging me having 2 red/hot wires going in to "The Dig" thinking I'll burn up the receiver. So went a head and tryed pulling one of the red wires from the esc's again. This time all woked fine so now only 5v going to "The Dig" from 1 esc.

It is still only 5v regardless if one or two or even ten for that matter are plugged in. You are hooking them up in parallel, so only the amperage adds up, not the voltage
