Default More FXR ESC Question

I just got a fxr esc. I took it to lhs and had them solder it together. While they were at it, I had them install cc bec. The removed red wire form esc plug. I just want to verify the esc went in the throtte port and the bec went in the bind port in SR300 reciever. Thanks in advance.

I have some more questions. Will hotwire work if red esc wire is pulled because of bec? Does the power need to be on? How do you program without hotwire? Thanks.

No, I think it has to be plugged in to use the hotwire. Did they cut the wire or just unplug it from the connector? If they unplugged it then you can just plug it back in when you need it.

You can program it with the LED's but if you have a hotwire I would use it because you get more options.

You need the red wire to power up the ESC when you attach it to the Hotwire.

Thanks for the replys. I tried using hotwire, but it kept saying plug in esc to hotwire. I did figure out how to use the esc to program (lhs kept intructions). They just unpluged red wire. Would i plug redwire back in, then unplug bec while programmming? Thanks again.

It does need the red wire to mount to the Hot-Wire for programming.

It doesn't need it for LED programming.

Tekin site should have the manual as a PDF.... http://www.teamtekin.com/hotwirehelp.html and http://www.teamtekin.com/hotwire.html
