| FXR Hot Wire
Is it a good idea to get a FXR Hot Wire? What are some of the positive things I can do with this? Thanks |

I think that it is worth it, much quicker than watching lights flash. It gives you a few more options on some of the settings. It is really nice if you are running dual esc's because you can easily check them both out.

Also you can't change the throttle profile with out a hotwire on FXR. You can on the Pro, but you really need to be able to change the forward and reverse throttle profiles to get a crawler dialed in right imo.

You can do a "linear" profile for fwd/rev, this means you move the throttle trigger a little, you get a little power to the motors. Basically the stock programming. You can also change it, like I did, where near "0" throttle, moving the throttle a bunch gives almost no power to the motors, then squeeze a bit more and the power level rises faster than throttle movement. This makes it a little easier to creep fwd/rev even while moving around the rocks and if my fniger twitches a bit, the rig won't jump on me. You can do seperate profiles for fwd & rev. I have a few profiles made & saved, I just plug my laptop in, pick a profile & load it.

So, can I program more than one esc with the Hotwire? Or do I need a separate hotwire for each FXR esc I have?

It is used for programming, save settings and then disconnect. It does NOT remain connected.
