It says "Retract" servo on it. It only sweeps from one side to the other, not left and right like a normal servo would go. If you want a "low profile", fast and strong steering servo for the little guys, then the Futaba 9551, or the older 9550 would be the ticket. Ron

| sure is,I missed that,it is kinda slow though. Overview The A7000 retract servo is fully proportional and endpoint adjustable for easy setup; and when paired with the correct transmitter, is speed adjustable, as well. With 260 oz-in of torque, the A7000 can retract any mechanical gear, at whatever speed is needed |

okk its slooow, but still lots of torque at 30 dollars...crawlers don't need a ton of speed anyways, were talking around half a second to get to full throw, not a huge deal for someone on a budget, and on 1.9 i doubt it needs anywhere near 160* of throw.

| I do wiggle but not often, i have tricks i do with my throttle which is allowed because of how i built my radio and the nature of worms. probably why i don't see it as a huge problem.

It might be a good servo to mod into a winch.

A Hitec HS-645MG is 0.20 sec. /60 deg If you do the math this one is 0.45 sec./60 deg A little under half the speed. I would say that it would work well as a shift or dig servo if you are trying to find something small and strong as long as it didnt have to move too far. Hell slap a long horn on there and you would have more linear movement for less radial movement. | |
