| batterys getting hot when charging
i noticed recently that when i charge my batterys they get hot. Not schorching hot but warm enough that it caught my attention. Is this normal? Im running NiMh batts and charging them at the recommened 4 amps Thanks in advance |

What size nimh? They will warm up when peaking, it is normal. Generally around 135f is normal when charging them fast.

there around 2000mah. i just didnt know if this was normal or not.

Drop the rate down. 4a is the suggested rating if you want to wear them out in 30 charges. What shape/ brand are they? If it is AA then 1a would be better. If it is a 2/3a or similar squat size then 2a may be ok. |
