Default Question about motor's

So I'm pretty new to crawlers. And i picked up a ax10 and have been very disappointed with the esc and no drag brake. I'm looking to get a tekin system. so between the fxr 35t and 55t the 35t will have more wheel speed yes? and the 55t more torque? and if that's correct will the 35t still have enough torque to crawl better than lets say the factory ax10 motor?

If you are going to stick with the 14t pinion, go for a tekin 45t. If you are going to an FXR move on the Li-Po barreries, they will make a world of difference.

I do actually have a lipo battery. And thanks for some feed back. Why do u recommend the 45 over the 35? is it just that much more torque?

The 35t will make more torque and power on a particular battery pack. A 45t will be a good step from a 55t for you. A 35t will have lots more wheelspeed, but maybe that is your thing.

I ran a HH 35t handwound torquemaster in my AX-10 when I had one. It had plenty of torque and crazy wheel speed!
