| are mg946r servos any good?
A buddy of mine gave me a couple servos he had lying around his garage. Still brand new. They are towerpro mg946r. I want to know if they are crap. He said he got 4 for $3.99 plus shipping, off ebay. Said they were 208oz. Sounds too cheap to be any good, but who can argue with free parts. Simply put, are these crap?

Nope....they arent bad servos for smaller trucks or scalers. They are a bit underpowered for a comp truck or something heavy....

Im gonna do a super lo-buck rig so I will save the pair of mg946's for that one. I want to see if I can do the whole thing for under 200. They were free so I got a good start so far.
