Default FXR smoke?

Hello, I need some help due to my smoking fxr pro.
I received one this morning and connected it into my XR10 with a punk dig.
So i plug it all in right way +with+ and -with-, the capacitor also.
I setup the esc in 3S under hotwire and update the firmeware.
When i plug my 3S lipo i just got the time to do the radio calibrate
until he get ready the esc start to smoke .
The lipo gets really hot and inflated. The lipo still work again now she get cold.
I try to plug my sidewinder; just plug to the punk dig and everything work fine.
I have compared the new one to my 3 others and everything is wired correctly .
At first have i missed something?
An if not, do you think i can make the guarantee play?
By advance thank you
Fred

Yea, I would hope so as long as you got it from a retailer and not from ebay or individual. Sure been hearing about a lot of FXR smoke lately. I would guess your being in france its gonna be a pain.

Yep it's done correctlly i check it three time . the blue mark on the capacitor on the Bat - .
Mind just got a litlle smoke not completely burn and still light again but in few seconde it get hot and smell burn.
It look like a mosfet probleme???
I just got some news .
I buy it at amain hobbies and ask to there chat. They are fast and really helpfull
so they said tekin don't let enybody else doing the after market .So they can't send me an other one
I contact tekin just right now and i need to tchat with the online support.
because they can't fixe the probleme they give me a number and an adresse in UK for send it back .The only bad point for me is tekin ask you your credit card number for the possibility of unwanrranty and they charge you for fixing and sippement return
I hope it gone be accepted
Any way it's a minimum of 4 weeks waiting
And as usual i'm really really impatient to play with my new toy !Plus the season star soon for use !!!!!
Thanks everyone for answering and help
I will let you know how the tekin after market works and if i did something wrong or not .
thanks
Fred

The credit card info is only required if the esc is not covered under warranty. I spoke to you earlier. If yours is under the 120 day period, and it was then you're good.
