Could the "c" in DX3c stand for crawler? Maybe Spektrum is listening? Although, I thought it was a little strange to see it said "ultimate entry-level computer radio". Still, I dont know if it will mix 2 ESC's.... |

True....but I serously doubt that a radio labeled as "introductory" will have decent mixing...

The programming is upgradeable with a SD card, so no sending the unit in to have it upgraded

It could work? maybe once its released, Spektrum/Horizon will get with the program and come up with some downloadable software for the 3Rpro and this, that will allow dual ESC mixing. that would rule. |

That's pretty nice though, a good step up from the DX3E with only a small jump in price. I like it, although I'm curious as well about the mixing capabilities.

Nice I really like the Futaba 4pl but I dont need and prob. will never use all the features it has. This looks like a great radio for the price, as long as it has a 3pos 3rd channel... I think DX3E sales are gonna go down, unless they drop the price a bit. you get alot more with this for $30 more than a 3E...

From Horizon's site: DX3C DSM 3-Channel Surface Radio Key Features * 20 Model Memory * Rolling Selector * SR300 Receiver Included * Adjustable Steering Wheel Tension * Inactivity Warning * Exponential * Assignable Switches * Programmable mixes * Interchangeable Grips * SD Card Slot * Marine Compatible Overview The Spektrum DX3C is the ultimate entry-level computer radio. With features of most mid-level 3 channel surface radios, it features a totally new design case and upgraded easy to read; dotmatrix LCD display. Offering mixing, capable of 4 way steering or dual brake servos, and a 20 model memory. The DX3C will also include an SD card slot, which will allow for software updates, similar to the DX3R Pro. Targeting sport drivers who are looking for a computer radio that offers basic programming features they need, without paying for things that they don’t. The DX3C also includes the SR300 sport surface receiver. Last edited by Natedog; 03-17-2011 at 02:03 PM.

It says: Assignable Switches Programmable mixes Hopefully you can assign switches to adjust mixes. That is really all that is missing to be able to run Dual's. |

The fit/feel of the 3C is a lot better then you would think for a budget radio too.

| Can you tell us if the step is adjustable to control mixing. Can you set it to be like a 5% or 10% step or whatever you want?
