I usually use either velcro or servo tape.

Hmmm... well as I said I tried velcro. Doesnt work for me. Servo tape, not sure what that is really but will look into it. Never thought of goop. Do you roughen up the surface or anything? Thnx for info.

Try cleaning the surface with alcohol or windex before sticking the velcro, it's probably just dirty, I have never had an issue with it before.

| tape type adhesives usually prefer a nice smooth surface, I wonder if there is a protective plastic film on the delrin?? I have done that before and wondered why it didn't stick...

It is thin enough that the servo won't really move, but thick enough to kill some vibration as well as shear off about the same time you would break the servo. Almost anywhere that handles RC stuff has/can get servo tape. | |

Double sided tape is a shit ton cheaper at auto parts stores then hobby shops. 3m makes the stuff that Lund uses to hold their junk to 1:1 trucks.

Ok here is a update...... I sanded down the surface to get the shiny/slick side smooth. I then remounted everything with double sided tape (3M) but I also used super glue on the bottom of the tape and skid plate. Seemed to work really really well so far. Will keep you guys aprised if anytrhing changes. Thnx for the advise/info. |
